DO NOT SHARE your private key with anyone, including Phantom staff. Practice caution whenever you need to use your private key to import your account, and always verify the legitimacy of the application where you plan to enter your private key! If anyone gains access to your private key, your wallet will be compromised and you will not be able to prevent them from accessing your funds.
In this section, you will learn how to view and export your private key securely. Before proceeding, you will encounter security warnings and be asked to confirm that you will not share your private key with anyone.
Your private key is stored locally on your device in a secure “vault” file. To access this file, you will need to use your password or biometrics to unlock it.

- Find the customization or ‘edit’ section by clicking or tapping the pencil icon.
- Select “Show Private Key” to reveal your key.
After you confirm the message "I will not share.." you will be able to click Next and view your Private key.
