How to deposit SOL, ETH, POL and Bitcoin in my Phantom wallet?

  • Updated

Phantom wallet currently only supports Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin assets.  This means you can deposit any tokens that are on these networks.

Step 1

First, you need to get your deposit address.

  1. Open up the Phantom wallet application and click “Receive"
  2. Click on the "Copy" button to copy the deposit address for BTC, ETH, POL or SOL.
  3. Click on the token to view the deposit address and the corresponding QR code.

Step 2

Send the tokens from the exchange.

  1. Go to the exchange you are using and select the “Withdraw” option for either SOL/ETH/POL. You can find this in the “Wallet” section in the exchange and the page where you purchased the token.
  2. Once you find this feature, paste the deposit address you just copied from your Phantom wallet into the 'send to' address field.
  3. Lastly, enter the amount and select the network and click on withdraw.

Your funds will appear in your wallet as soon as the exchange approves your withdrawal request and when the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.

You can check the status of the transaction on your exchange account, centralized exchanges tend to take some time to verify your withdrawal and process them on your exchange account. If the transaction is not showing any data on an explorer then the tokens have not been sent from the exchange yet. In this case, you will need to wait or you can reach out to your exchange's support team.
