How to migrate from Sollet

  • Updated

DO NOT share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone! If someone has access to your secret phrase, they will have access to your wallet. Phantom support will NEVER ask you for your secret phrase or your private key.

This guide is for anyone that has an existing Sollet wallet and wants to migrate their funds to Phantom. This process consists of 3 easy steps:

  1. Install Phantom
  2. Find your secret recovery phrase
  3. Import your secret recovery phrase

Install Phantom

If you already have Phantom installed, skip this step.

Phantom is available for a number of different platforms and browsers. To install Phantom, please visit

Find your secret recovery phrase

If you already have your seed words safely stored and accessible, skip this step.

Go to and, if necessary, enter your password to unlock your wallet. You should now be looking at your account balances. Next, click "ACCOUNT" in the top right-hand corner of the page.

After clicking "ACCOUNT", a menu will pop up. Select the "Export Mnemonic" option from that menu.

After selecting "Export Mnemonic" above, your seed words will be shown as a private text field. Please copy the seed words to a safe location and proceed to the next step.

Import secret recovery phrase

After successfully installing Phantom, you should have a page open in a browser tab that looks like this. Click "I already have a wallet".

If you don't see this, please press the Phantom icon in the top right-hand side of your browser. Alternatively, press the Phantom keyboard shortcut ("alt + shift + p") or ("option + shift + p").

You should now be in the Phantom onboarding experience.

Type in your 12 or 24 word "Secret Recovery Phrase" or "mnemonic" that you exported from Sollet, then click "Import wallet".

After completing the onboarding, you should find that Phantom has all of your previously used addresses derived from your recovery phrase!

Multiple Wallets

You can only use 1 Secret Recovery or Seed Phrase with Phantom at a time. If you already have a wallet set up and you would like to use a different one, go into Settings (top left icon), select "Security & privacy" and click "Reset Secret Recovery Phrase". Then follow the instructions above in this guide.

Make sure you have written down your Secret Recovery Phrase and stored it somewhere safe as it is the only way to recover your wallet(s).
